You can realistically lose 30 pounds between now and the wedding but you are going to have to be very strict in your choices.

You didn't mention your current weight, food choices or fitness routine if any, so I will assume that you are like the average person and give in to junk food cravings and are not too active.

First thing that you must do is to eliminate all junk food. Sugary soda's (all soda in general even diet kinds), sugary candy, juices, white bread, cake and fast food. Now your probably thinking that there is nothing left to eat. Sure there is.

Eat as much as you want of green salads (dressing must be low fat, low cal and use as little as possible-the new spray on types are excellent). No croutons - they are loaded with fat.

You can also eat as much vegetables as you like as long as they are not in any type of sauces.

Lean meats, like chicken without the skin, pork and beef withh all visible fat removed. Fish like salmon, tuna, trout are also good choices but again remember no sauces.

100% whole wheat bread for sandwiches or toast. If you are used to using mayonaise on your sandwiches, switch to low fat or use mustard instead.

Low sugar cereal makes a great snack, along with real fruit ice bars and skinny cow ice milk treats. If you haven't tried the Skinny Cow brand you should. The taste is very good, they are reasonably priced and great for any kind of diet.

Drink at least 8 glasses of plain water a day. This is in addition to any other green teas or coffee you may drink.

If you are not already walking for ftitness, add some in. Walking is excellent. I's also suggest Pilates to tighten up any flabby areas that you may have. Pilates works extremely fast and most people see results within their first 2 weeks.

When ever you can move-do it. Start cleaning around the house. You can burn a lot of calories doing chores. Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, gardening, shovel snow all use your major muscle groups and make a good workout.

If you don't have any hand weights, keep 2 cans of vegetables by your tv. Whenever you watch tv, put the cans in your hands and use them like hand weights.

Practice holding in your tummy for 20 seconds at a time. Do 5 to 6 times per hour. Work up to 1 minute each time. That really works on tightening the stomach muscles. Just remember to continue to breathe naturally and don't hold your breath.

You can do it and since you are working for a specific goal and date it will make it that much easier to get to.

Good luck & your Mom will be so proud of you (that alone should give you motivation)

i don't know how your eating habits are, but you may want to reevaluate them. Also, walking or jogging everyday for 30 minutes. I joined Curves 3 months ago. I lost 5 lbs, and 4 inches in the first month! and it's relatively easy work. If you just increase your activity and maybe lessen your food intake it should come off. Also, leave the sodas and chocolate alone. Also, NO FAST FOOD. These 3 things will KILL a diet. So good luck girlfriend, I wish you all the best luck in your little project.
