that information is NOT for public dissemination. your unit will be informed, privately, when it's up to deploy. Until then, OPSEC rules.

Usually, you can go to a National Guard post there and speak with someone, if you have access to those facitlities. Then again, you could find out like I did via CNN for my husband's division (active duty) before orders were even passed down. Army Times is another way to find out. According to Army Times, 140 Ark. Guardsmen just came home at the end of February.
Someone mentioned OPSEC and she is right (operational security). Unfortunately, the internet is an open book on everything. Just be careful what you discuss and with whom. As for deployment dates those get published publicly all the damn time and we can't do anything about it.
I hope this little bit of info helps!

Arkansas National Guard, I'm assuming? If you have a family member or friend in the unit, they will be the best source of information on that.
Troops movements really aren't supposed to be discussed online, because of operational security concerns. There have been cases of people posting online what units were going where and when, and the insurgents using that information to attack and kill our soldiers. Be careful what you discuss online, and always assume that whatever information you give out will be used against your soldier.

My alarm bells have been ringing for an prolonged time to date as this President and cabinet is going. This administration has been attempting to tug the wool over our eyes on a on a regular basis foundation and that i’m guessing that “this” is yet another attempt. I ought to ask your self whether our militia may help our u . s . a ., or this corrupt government. i assume time will tell.

Al-Qaeda made its first appearance in Iraq only after the invasion, a predictable outcome of the U.S. occupation. In reality, the United States engaged in state terrorism under the pretext of fighting a terrorist threat that did not exist in Iraq, and in the process greatly increased the likelihood of individual and organizational terrorist acts targeting the United States or its proxies abroad.
Even more circular is the idea that the United States has to stay in Iraq until it "defeats" the resistance to the occupation. The occupation itself is the source of the resistance, a fact that even some of the people responsible for the war have been forced to acknowledge.
