2) God doesn't let people design anything, the power to do that comes from the fact that our brains evolved after we left the trees and moved to the savannahs, this lead to more meat in our diets, and larger brains.

Your words in the second sentence contradict each other. Being an atheist means YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD. DO YOU GET THAT?
We don't think god 'allows' us do design things, we think we do it ourselves.
By the way, please stop doing stupid plays on words. If you are an engineer it doesn't mean you are an atheist. Grow up, and quit smoking marijuana.

god doesn't allow me to design things. just like he doesn't allow me to get up every morning. He has no control over that because he isn't real.
