I want to buy some for a recipie, but all I can find is coffee cream, whip cream, 15% cream, and so on.

Whipping cream is heavy cream - or at least pretty darned close.

Often "heavy whipping cream" is heavy cream as it is what is used to make whipped cream. If you live in the US I would think that there is nowhere on god's green earth that you can't heavy cream..... even at a 7-11 as it is a super standard dairy product. You just need to ask somebody at the store.

Look for whipping cream in the dairy section. It's the same thing as heavy cream but just called by a different name because of the difference in English dialects from the UK to the USA. I know because I had an English g/f and she taught me a lot about cooking English dishes.

in the states, it is usually sold in small cartons and marked as heavy whipping cream. It will produce the same results. I am fortunate enough to get lovely raw milk and cream, straight from the cow

Heavy cream is whipping cream in australia its called thickend cream (i dont know where you are from) but i would imagine that it would be everywhere, just get normal cream, not light not coffee cream just normal whip cream.

Whipping cream comes in heavy variety, I think that is what you are looking for.

It's in the dairy case of your super market but it is usually call Whipping cream.

you are looking for heavy whipping cream!!! go to the dairy section by the creamers and milk you should be able to find it there. If not ask the store director....I have had trouble in the past as well but I eventually found it..But ask if you do not see it that is why there are workers in the grocery stores....Good luck
