97% of people who wait til marriage stay married and don't get divorce

From a Christian standpoint, Fornication is wrong.. Jesus said.."All ye fornicators, thieves....will not be accepted...."

It's a sacred institution to be done upon Marriage

Premarital sex, I do not agree with. Do you like seconds? this is what marriage is about also. Why not be the first and last instead of getting some one else's left overs. I do not know what the average is, but I feel the age should be when your grown up enough to support a child, incase one happens to come from the premarital sex.

Obviously, premarital sex isn't such a big thing to most people because the population is growing but the percentage of married people is declining. Really, what does that piece of paper that legalizes the marriage really prove? The average age that people are losing their virginity? I would guess 15 point somthing years old.

People feel different about it through various stages of their life. I did it, enjoyed it, and suffered no ill effects from it is so that kind of makes me a proponent. It certainly was a relief to know that the woman I married had a very healthy sexual appetite and chemistry on our wedding night. We had been together for a long time, but it was no less special and it was great not to have any performance anxiety.

I do not know what the average age is. My ex started at 14 and I started at 20. Back then were more interested about preventing pregnancy than the issue of STDs. Be safe, but if for no other reason than to know if you and your potential mate have a good sexual chemistry, then by all means enjoy!

Average age? I would guess 16-17.
I am not advocating sex at that young of an age... though I was doing it then (and earlier) and I do not regret it. But I do think that you should have some expierence before you get married. If not you end up regretting it. I have several friends that saved themselves for marriage but now wish they had lived a little more before getting married.

Premarital sex is fine. God never meant us to have sex with just one person our whole life and never experience another person. In fact, God never meant us to marry forever. The institution of marriage is a church invention. God knows that if you bond on a soul level, you will choose to be with one another every day until the purpose for you being brought together has ended. Then you will thank one another for the experience and lovingly let them go so you can each interact with and love another.

This is not permission to be promiscuous. It is permission to love and physically love without the guilt of religion and society.

Well i think that it is a personal decision and you should reserve yourself for the one you are meant to be and when i say that people ask me, "well how do you know if he is the one." Lets just say if you have to question yourself then there arnt the one for you but i dont think there should be a certain age or if you are married or not because 95% of adults that get married end up getting a divorce within 2-3 years. So in conclusion i think that you should have sex when you are ready and in love.

its not premarital sex if you dont plan on getting married....no, seriously. you have to do what your comfortable with. if you wanna wait till you get married, then wait. but if it doesnt bother you, then go for it, just make sure your absolutly positive about it. personally, i think you have to test drive the car before you buy it because wouldnt it suck a little if you were all set to wait till your wedding night to do it, and then it wasnt anywhere near as great as you hoped and then it didnt get any better either? (dont blast me for any of that, any time i have had sex ive been safe about it) i have no idea about average age though. i waited till i was 18

I think that people should do what is right for them. I had sex before marrage. My parents had sex before marrage. I lived with my husband before marrage too. I think it helps you get to know the person better so that you won't have any surprises. Make sure if you choose to have sex before marrage (I was 17) that you and your partner are protected. Get educated and make smart choices.
