We all know that God plays an ineffable game of chess on the Earth of which we are mearly the pieces...

but, you play games with your friends right?

He has used 'satan' to his own advantage many times, the garden of eden, avenging angels in the destruction of cities and the like...

we are so small and insignificant compared to God, do we know that he cares so much about one soul? you only have to look at a military leader to see that they are wlling to sacrifice the few for the many

God is more than capable of killing the Devil himself, he is omnipotent...

how do you imagien their relationship, surely satan is the nearest equivalent to god...dont they have alot of things in common?

No... you need to go back to sunday school and PAY ATTENTION! Let me spell this out for you. They cannot be friends because God is definitely not happy with satan. Satan did the whole tempting Eve on his own,... that is why he was in the form of a lizard (had legs) and was turned into a serpent, forced to slither around the in the dirt. READ THE STORY CAREFULLY.

He cares about us all because we are all a piece of him. We are his children.. We are nothing but bits of his energy that he gave to us along with a body to enjoy (respectfully).

Of course God is capable of killing the devil and he shall as soon as his seventh day of rest is over. A day to us is far different than a day to god. Then satan will be punished and destroyed.

And finally, they are the farthest thing apart from equivalents. Satan was an angel, created by God, then was a fallen angel (demon) because he tried to be like God and tried to get mankind to worship him. Satan is nothing more that a low down, no good, lying, (yet powerful) demon. God and a demon are nothing in the same. Thank you.

replaced into that merely some thing that he made up, or did he have the backing of scriptures or scholars? One ordinary ingredient, in case you study interest (may well be greater OT stuff besides) you get the impact the author had to portray one in all those cheeky dating between them. interior the story, the devil actually makes of venture with God with regard to the main righteous guy or woman on earth. And to confirm what happens, God then ruins Jobs existence. If that isn't a narrative then whoah, there are some unusual issues going on! some human beings interpret the Angel of death interior the Moses/Pharoah tale to be the devil, and God makes use of him or enables him to kill the 1st born. yet there won't be any credible bible information for devil being Gods buddy. seem interior the previous testomony and it form of feels incredibly obtrusive that maximum individuals did no longer even have faith in devil decrease back then. the assumption seems to have ensue via interactions with different religions while Persia governed the tutor. no longer plenty sturdy information for 'an eternity of discomfort' the two, thats regularly merely medieval theory going on.

Actually God created the angel who through his pride and rebellion became the devil. So you see there is a big difference between the creator and the created.

Friends, God actually cares for each soul. In the Bible it says the very hairs on your head are numbered. God is long suffering and patient towards us, not wanting for any to perish. God has a place in the Book of Life for your name.

As for the devil, God has prepared a Lake of Fire for him. So you see the devil and God, are not friends, as some so ignorantly or wickedly reason.

I would say that Satan is no comparison with God. God is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient and Satan is NOT. He is definately around with his league of demons making our lives miserable but a relationship of Satan with God would never work out. God is pure and light, Satan is garbage and darkness and the Bible says that light and darkness could not relate, light always dominates. On 1John 1:5 it says: "This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all."

Devils are spirit, they can't have forgiveness. People are spirit in flesh, warm and alive, and the one who is given the priviledge to be forgiven, that's why don't waste the Hope. We can be Friends in God, but the devis can't.

Also, God is far away to be equivalent to satan. In power and in deeds. In being and in existence.

yes they were once.
Then satan became a fallen angel because he wanted something I fear to remember..

satan is not an equialent of God....his powers are limited..cannot make an Univers and a man and the life , neither a flower ,he just can shake a little the people...The angels are more powerfull, I guess, because they obeyed to God, and received some powers to help people..

Satn is God's enemy. He corrupted people to even kill the Son of God, Jesus.Satan is also our enemy..tries to lead us into tempation and we have to pay attention..to be right and faithfull to God..

God created Adam & Eve and gave them brains to think for themselves, God also gave them orders of what they could have and not have. Eve was tempted by the devil to take fruit from the forbidden tree. don't blame God for her sin! She then gave some to Adam and he to sinned, by disobeying God. As for the other ones, they to were warned and they should have used their God given brains, but they didn't and were punished. What do you think happens to people that break the rules? they are punished! So God punished them, what do you think He was supposed to do?And satan is not Gods friend!

Do you ever think the darkness will ever become light? Or the night becoming day?
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God; what is good and acceptable and perfect.

God did create the angels. Satan is the angel Lucifer who chose against God. Satan did it himself. God would not be friends with the Satan. God cannot be friends with evil.

God did not create Satan. Everything that He created in the universe was perfect. Though every creature was created perfect, each one was given choice. One particular creature chose to rebel against God by trying to impose his own will, rather than following God's will. When this occurred this angel became the adversary, or Satan. God did not create this creature in this manner, nor did He wish him to rebel. It was his own choice.
