You need to report your brother's behavior to a trusted teacher or school counselor. It is possible that your mother was also a victim of sexual abuse herself and is refusing to acknowledge the possibility that the cycle is continuing. Your father is passive and not protecting you either. You girls need someone to advocate for your safety. Your brother needs professional help, that behavior will only get worse if he is not held accountable for his actions. There are several treatment programs for teenage boys who have sexual offender issues. If not he could continue to act sexually inappropriate and rape when he is an adult and the consequences would be much more severe. I'm sorry you and your sister are going though this. Your parents should be protecting you instead of ignoring the problem. You have the right to feel safe in your own home.

Child abuse hotline, dear. Give them a call. Or tell your teacher or counselor at school. Must be that there's a stepfamily here, so there's a brother and sister both 16,right?

The fact that your parents aren't stepping up and doing something is a grave concern. You need to report it, before its too late, and someone ends up pregnant. Not to mention the mental scars you all are having due to this abuse. Please, make it stop!

It is a difficult situation, but first and for most you need to protect yourself. The best way you can do this is to tell someone who has the power to protect you like a teacher, councilor, or family doctor. It is hard to tell someone something like this, but if you don't its not going to stop. Especially because your parents can't or wont do anything to stop him. Your brother now believes he can do what ever he wants and not get in trouble for it. What is happening is not your fault. No matter what anyone tells you. No one chooses to be molested, but you can choose to stop it. You have made the first step by reaching out for help. Now reach a little further to someone who can make a difference. Be brave and good luck.

Your dad believes you but hasn't bust his *** yet?

Tell a guidance counselor at school or call the police. It's not clear exactly what you mean by rape since so many people call any sexual assault rape. In my state, rape is specifically P to V contact. If your mom isn't acting upon this, call child welfare. Whatever you have to do, tell someone.

Call the police next time he tries anything. Do you and your sister sleep in the same room? Try staying together and lock the door, and get some pepper spray or something. That'll teach him. Your dad needs to be more proactive than just 'talking to him' too.

Call child protective services and report it!! If your brother is 16 and your sister is 16, are they twins or step-brother and sister?? Call the authorities and report what he did to you, they will listen and investigate. If you have a tape recorder place it under the bed and try to tape him in the act!! That will prove it.

If your dad believes you then he should do something. Your brother needs major help. Your dad needs to be a man and put your brother away somewhere or get some counseling.

talk to a teacher or a counselor at school. it's your parents job to protect you from that kind of stuff and they're not doing it! shame on both of them for probably more than the situation you ask about.

If no one is helping I would say call the police because that is horrible thing that is happening and what if he does it to others that you don't know about?
