i just ordered a sandwich from a sub place and i should be getting it in like half an hour if all goes well. the sandwich place is maybe 3 blocks away, and i'm wondering how much should i tip the delivery guy? the sandwich was a little under 5 bucks.

20% is the norm for a tip - so $1 is fine.

Generally a dollar or less for such a small fee. I'm surprised they agreed to deliver anything under $10...

15% so 75 cents. I remember Paris forgot that the regular tip is 15% and the media made her pay for it!

I hear you are always supposed to pay 10% of the total cost. 10% of $5.00 is $.50. So therefore, you should pay the delivery guy $.50.

just double the sales tax and that will be your tip but if you want to tip more than its all good. i usually double the tax and if they were really nice i tip them way more =)

I always give a minimum tip of $5.00 dollars regardless of the price.

I figure any thing is worth $5.00 now days.
