I really like this girl in band, and I have been really considering asking her for a long time if she wants to go out. However, she's been really sad for the last couple of days because she didn't make the softball team, so i've been holding off. Is that a good idea or should I keep going and ask her now?

2nd Part : I really don't think her friends like me. With my other ex, we broke up because her friends didn't like me, so they told her crap about me that wasn't true and she got mad. I don't want that to happen again. Should I just try and get her friends to be friends with me, or just ask her out and hope that it all falls together?

Ask her out now, might brighten her mood! And don't worry about her friends, she should make her own decisions and not rely on what her friends like and don't like!

1. I think you should go ahead. From my point of view( a girls point) if i didn't make the team i would want to have someone to be with and even if i did that someone always makes me feel better. If she likes you she will go for it even if shes upset. good luck

2. Her friends shouldn't influence her, your ex could have just used that against you, because she coudln't tell you she didn't like you. If a girl likes you she won't hate you unless she has proof you did something or saw it herself. Also, try and get along with her friends, it will make you look better to them and her.

Answer to part 1 question----- Go ahead and ask her out. Ask her if she wants to go out to the movies or do something fun like bowling. She shouldn't mope around too long. Isn't good.

Answer to part 2 question------ It doesn't matter what friends think. It sounds like that you aren't sure if they like you or not. Once they get to know you they should like you. Plus you cant live in that fear. You have to take chances or you miss out on things in life.

Good luck.

I think you should tell her that the coaches made a bad decision about her not making the team. Ask her out on the pretext of cheering her up. If she says no, then tell her that if she needs to talk about anything, not to hesitate to ask.

It couldn't hurt to become friends with her friends whether you go out or not.

You know, don't worry about her friends right now. If you are nice to her and she likes you then her friends will be OK with you too. Go ahead, ask her out, it will at least be an ego booster for her. Good Luck!!

I think you should just ask her out...a girls friends can only get so far when it comes to deciding on who to be with. Now would be a good time...especially since she is feeling low...you could be the guy that brightens her world.

Don't care about your friends. If you like each other, then thats all that matters.
I think you should just be friendly for about a week. Then, ask her out.
Who knows, she may like you too! And I think it will make her a little happier to know that someone likes her.

You should ask her out. Honestly you will look back on this years from now and say "What if" if you don't act now. If you guys aren't meant to be then you wont stay together, but don't be discouraged by the possibilities.
