Cause I want photo shop and i need word and powerpoint

what are you talking about? adobe DOES have photoshop for PCs. also, you need to buy word and powerpoint, which were originally for PCs anyway.

The Mac version of Photoshop won't work on a Windows based PC and vice versa - unless you have an emulator - which there are plenty for Mac's to use Windows - but doesn't seem as much the other way around.

The versions for the two computers are different and will not work on the other computer. You can download a program for the Mac onto the PC and then transfer it to a Mac (or vice versa) as long as you don't expand them.

there is a pc version of photoshop, but it is not free. The Mac version won't run on Windows

You can DOWNLOAD anything. It's just like a data file until you try to install it.
You CAN put diesel fuel into a car designed to run on gasoline. You could use water as well. The car won't run any more, but the fuel tank is full.
