The vehicle you book will have a stipulated maximum number to be carried. This is the number of PERSONS and the carriage of any more will render any Insurance invalid for all, including the vehicle.

It is illegal .. normally for a short journey you'd risk it but if you're on holiday and was unfortunate enough to have an accident with 8 people on board then your insurance would not pay out.

Would invalidate insurance. No insurance - illegal
Stupid
Consider using a minibus (but check your licence covers you to drive it, or the insurance will be invalidated...).

IT WOULD NOT BE A GOOD IDEA AS YOUR INSURANCE WOULD BE INVALID PLUS YOU WOULD NOT HAVE ENOUGH SEAT BELTS WOULD NOT BE A SAFE OPTION. MAYBE I COULD SUGGEST YOU TRY A SMALL MINI BUS SO YOU CAN BE SAFE AND ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY.
