It depends. There are people are are completely blind and see nothing. There are some people who see shadows. As for me, I am 'legally' blind, along with many other people, where their eye sight is sooo bad that without glasses and contacts, you can't even make out a huge sign right in front of your face, but you can see colors and can make out shapes.

I think they see shadows especially in sunlight.
