I have many cartilage piercings, a few done when I was as young as 15, most done more recently at 19, 20. They hurt and your ear will be sore for a while, but since everyone feels pain differently, I cannot tell you exactly how it will feel.

Any piercing can get infected, but its easy to avoid infection when the piercings are done correctly by professional piercer and its not a problem if you take care of the piercing.

DO NOT get the piercing done with a piercing gun!

I cannot stress how important it is to avoid having piercings done with the gun. Its dangerous and can cause serious problems. Have the piercing done with a needle by a skilled professional.

As far as cost of the piercing, it depends on where you go. Expect to pay anywhere from $25-60 depending on who does the piercing and the type of jewelry used.

Make sure you go to a piercing studio, not to the mall. Piercings with a piercing gun are very dangerous, as the gun can not be sterilized. Guns can also shatter cartilage, requiring reconstructive surgery in some cases.

Proper piercing method and aftercare should significantly reduce the chances of infection. Cartilage piercings do take quite a while to heal, up to a year in some cases.

I had it done twice. It costs around $20. It didn't hurt when it was done, but there was a lot of pain afterward. Like within a few minutes. Each time it got infected, blown up and red. But someone told me that you're supposed to squeeze the red bump to have the stuff come out through the hole, than it'll be okay. I don't know. I would wear a clip-on instead of doing it again.

Yes I got mine done at 16 and it didn't hurt until after she did it. As far as it getting infected no, bc I took very good care of my piercing and if you want to get yours pierced it is very important that you take care of that, especially the cartilage area.

I got mine pierced at age 11 and it hurt for about 2 seconds, and then it just felt kinda warm and itchy. One of mine got infected cause I slept on it every night, and left the earing in while it was infected.

all people is gay, no longer piercings. it is not effortless to place ear decorations everywhere however the lobe; in spite of the indisputable fact that it would not characterize something particular except you opt for it to, or belong to a collection that has such traditions. i might recommend bypass with the ear ingredient and ditch the eyebrow piercing; facial hardware is a good sized turn-off for many individuals, and could desire to heavily impair your employment concepts.
