New hatchlings are bright fluffy yellow with short little legs. A two week old hatchling will be mostly fluffy, soft yellow, and gangly looking (long neck and awkward legs). A four week old duck should be losing it's fluff and getting a pincushion look as it starts to feather out. An eight week old duck should have adult feathers in. An adult Pekin (not pecan) can still have some yellow feathers, but they will not be fluffy.

It can vary by a week or two depending on species and conditions where they were raised.

But, that's about it.

Can you tell us how much they way and roughly where their feathers have started to come in? That will help us.
