It kind of hurts.... and the buzzing and maxillary sinus pain (reflected pain in the back of my eyes and top jaw) but only on the right side of my face. I notice the buzzing a lot when my blood pressure changes and its been going on for 2 years or so.

More recently I've had a shooting weird feeling from my tooth down my neck. That might not be related though.... But again its on my right side.

But they tell me its just tinnitus. Should I just take their word for it?

I have Eustachian tubes which close and 'pop' all of the time. It's been all my life. I clean the middle and inner sinuses passages with salt sollution. When I hold my nose and open my ears, I can even hear and smell better.

Try a saline nasal RINSE (not a spray) A full warm water saline rinse goes in one nostril and out the other. It draws out all the gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming in the ocean). I've been doing it at work too.

The buffered salt doesn't 'sting' as much as plain salt water. You can use a new method like Nasopure, or the vintage, Netipot. The special bottle and salt is about $20.

You can do this a often as you like with no bad side effects.

You don’t need a prescription for this therapy. So if you live in a state like mine, they’ve pretty much “outlawed” sudafed medicine. Drug-free is really the way to go on a frequent-use basis. (I put in a link for “what” and “how” – there’s also some good info on wiki)

Sounds like a wisdom tooth pressure...have the area xrayed.
Could also just be shifting sinus, get some herbal vitamins like ginko or ginseng.
