God help you...........they are a total pain..literally.... I have 3 children.... we've all had them. Medicine...stripping the beds..washing in hot water..open windows, vacuum like crazy...preferably wearing a mask over your nose and mouth....the eggs when moved...go airborne...and you can re-inhale them and start the cycle all over again. Get rid of teddies...etc...... sunlight helps to kill them. Re take the medicine...two weeks after....... oregano oil taken orally also helps kill them in your intestines...I ended up taking a bowel cleanse as did one of my children. Wash in hot, hot water..and dry outside in sunlight if possible. Good luck..I do not envy you.......cut finger nails short...be ultra adament about handwashing with warm to hot water. The medicine is nasty but the whole family does need to take it ...or you end up re-infesting and this can go on for months...years infact!! It is common and is not some thing to feel ashamed off...your daughter probably got them from school..the eggs can live on surfaces for a long time...

Give her a good scrubbing and keep her clean from now on. She needs a good strong antibiotic for 30 days to keep pinworms from manifesting in the colon and lower intestines. See a doctor asap. The doc.

They are internal parasites, not too uncommon. Take her to the doctor for medication to get rid of them. They can cause a lot of itching, discomfort, and inability to sleep. You do need to get rid of them.
