Hi I am not really sure of what flu symptoms are, but I woke up this morning feeling horrible. I have a fever, my throat is very tight and red, my whole body aches, my head feels like it weighs 100 lbs and I am coughing up a lot of mucus. lease let me know if this is the flu, and if its not, please tell me what it could be. Thank you

Sure sounds like it doesn't it. Call your doctor in the morning and go see him...they have antiviral meds out that when given within the first 48 hours, can drastically reduce the length of time you will be sick and make you feel better almost right away. In the time you are home, drink plenty of liquids, get lots of rest, stay warm and soon this too shall pass.

Sounds like the flu but you would want to be sure, call your doctor or the emergency room and ask that question. Hope you get better soon

yes, it sounds very much like you may have the flu. stay in bed and drink alot of fluids, take tylenol or something of that sort for your fever, it will probably last several days if not longer depending on the virus-

Sounds like the flu to me..tylonol, not tea..and rest..maybe some chicken noodle soup...you should feel better in a few days.

they reckon the difference between a very bad cold or a flu is the twenty quid test.
if you lie in bed and someone says there is £20 waiting for you on the doorstep and you can have it if you get up and get it...you either get up and go get it...you have very bad cold
or say stuff it i cant go get it i am too ill....you have flu.
since you are on your PC asking is it flu,i reckon therefore you have a bad cold or viral infection cos if it was flu you would be lay in bed too ill to type. hope that helps

No one here is qualified to make that decision but if your fever does not go away by tommorrow or if it is really high go to the Dr. or ER.......Check your symptoms on www.webmd.com though if you want
