It's more because I don't want a boyfriend right now, yet I know some 13 year olds that already have a couple ex-boyfriends and I just feel odd. Guys have asked me out before, but I always turn them down. Is it okay to just not want a boyfriend?

It is excellent to not want a boyfriend. Sure boyfriends are good to cuddle with and laugh with and whisper sweet nothings in your ear that leave you with this big stupid grin on your face for days, but when it comes down to it what else are they god for. They become controlling, demanding, stressful, insecure, and jealous. Without a boyfriend, you are entitlted to do everything you want to do without anyone getting in the way of it. It gives you time to learn to fully love yourself and know what makes you happy. It also allows you to furthur yourself in your career without any doubts. I wish that I made the decision you did. Enjoy your life, and when you finally do make the desicion to join as a pair with your significant other, your going to be very much well prepared for it. He will not be able to break your spirits.

I kinda wonder if I am normal because I have never had a boyfriend before and I am 14. I wish I could stop thinking about it. I think that you should do some dating every once in a while but if you don't want a boyfriend that is YOUR choice and that is nothing to be ashamed of. You are not the only one. My friends brother is 20 and has never had a girlfriend before. Your time will come. Good Luck = )

It's perfectly fine to not want a boyfriend, it shows that you aren't desperate for a guy to have fun. Guys are usually turned off by that anyways. It shows that you're independent, or you just aren't ready or interested right now. When the time is right, then you can seek out a guy.

some guys are too immature for relationships. maybe u dont want a boyfriend right now because ur waiting for the right person to come ur way theres nothing rong with that. most 13 year olds just have relationships for the heck of it, its like a popularirty contest, buht wen it all comes down they dun kno n e thing about relationships

Yes I am nineteen and have only had three boyfriends because im very picky and im single now because i just dont want one. I feel like i should have a stable life first. Unfortunately im not a virgin but i wish i was. So be happy God will send you that one and you will know.

Yes. I think it's better to chose your boyfriends carefully. These 13 year olds will have so many ex's and heart breaks. That's not very ideal to me. It's good that you want to wait and still have your virginity.

You do what is right for you. In my opinion 13 is too young for boyfriends although my daughter had one. He was/is a real nice boy and all but it really does interfere with schoolwork etc. At 20 you are still pretty young and if it is your choice than you are making good choices

Why should you have a care in the world about whether it's normal? If you don't want a boyfriend, don't have one. Have a little more dignity, why don't you. Set a good example for young girls who know they don't need to be completed by a man.

Whatever you want is what's normal for you. Forget about the word "normal"... do what you feel is right... don't worry about what everyone else might think. If you don't want a boyfriend, having a boyfriend won't make it better... just live your life how you want to live it, and ignore what everyone else thinks!

hey thats way cool homegirl it's like one in a million girl out there that are still virgins everyone i meet had dozens of relationship's and it makes me look at them like i'm cool... I wonna go where no man has gone before but if can find a girl that never had x before i'l marry her right away...i dont wonna get to personal on this subject i would tell you more...
