As a research associate in the field of Quantum Mechanics and Astro-physics I feel that I am hindered from making any substantial progress in finding the relationship between the physical and nonphysiological realities by the basic premise of scientific methodology which relies on the boundaries set forth by empirical observations being the only valid criteria for consideration. With the COBE satelites validation of the uniform microwave cosmological background radiation which Stephen Hawking described as the single most important discovery of the century we have evidence of the creation account which lines up with the Biblical story in Genesis. What I see as the next frontier for science is the study of the origins of consciousness in light of the discovery of the beginning of our space/time continuum. As I scientist I can observe the actions of intelligent volition and in the law of causality insists upon a possible transcendency beyond the point of singularity. Do I see God here?

At its present level, science can not. I feel that as science continues to make progress, the truth itself will point more and more towards God. That is one reaseon why, as a believer, I am all for scientific research and progress. Just by looking at the canvas of the universe, I can tell a lot about its artist.

You may see a god (the capital G is a Christian invention, starting from Bishop Ulfilas), if you can accept that there is nothing in these observations to suggest that god has a personality. It seems it is simply the nature of the "source" (as the word 'cause' would imply personality) to emerge as (at least) a universe.

But to make observations about the origins of consciousness, we must first come much further in saying exactly what consciousness is. Since we only have access to consciousness subjectively (indeed, as our own subjectivity), the standard objective methodology of science must be expanded with mutually corroborated tools for exploring the subjective realm.

Finally, the suggestion that some aspect of science "lines up with the Biblical story in Genesis" is virtually meaningless. We have men and women on earth, which lines up with Genesis, but in no way supports it as true. Since there are two creation stories in Genesis (one in each of the first two chapters) and they cannot even be reconciled with each other, and directly deny macro evolution (1:23) it seems pointless to even consider that mythology.

If you really are a scientist, and have vastly studied the limits of consciousness, which you know can be altered by physical entities such as drugs and such then you know that God has no place, biologically, in human affairs or lives.

The brain is a processing unit that does not have room for any 'free will' or soul that makes the decisions based on moral positions or singularly controlled personality. You would know that personality is based on many things, also being susceptible to altercation by drugs or other physical entities. We live and function in a physical world.

The whole theory of quantum mechanics is basically intangable, and I feel it is safe to say it will never be able to predict or describe any foreseeable human behaviors or processes because the action of atoms is so chaotic and defies the laws within our understanding. I mean, really, electrons popping in and out of existance?

Even today brain processes can be observed through FMRI's which can pin-point the origin of certain regions of the brain responsible for specific tasks and emotions. Consciousness itself is observed by machines. Brain activity sparks electric firing which stops when a human being dies.

Whatever consciousness is, it certainly is not a entity that has control over our actions or brains even. It is merely a window into our brain processes that allows us to be aware of what our physical brains allow us to see. One study actually found that the actions were actually made before the conscious was even aware of it.

There basically is no non-physical realities when we are talking about the brain because all of our interactions with the world around us is based on the interaction of atoms and the chemicals and structures of our physical world. Our consciousness is very limited to what exist in our world.

You realize you are speaking pure nonsense, right?
And buried in all your jargon, you say there is evidence of the creation account that lines up with the Bible? Where is it? And I hope this evidence relies on "empirical observations being the only valid criteria for consideration" as well, because I have never encountered any Creation evidence that stuck to the Scientific Method.

that's a query cosmogenists could desire to bang heads mutually over for years...yet you apart from could might desire to needless to say define conscioiusness... are animals unsleeping? are bugs? are any residing issues different than human beings unsleeping? i quite locate it difficult to have faith we'd be the only ones...yet that's merely hypothesis and my theory, given how huge the universe is, and for that reason, how no longer likely that's that there is in basic terms a unmarried planet able to help existence and its evolution into greater complicated beings, inclusive of walk the earth on the instant... yet as to the beginning of understanding, I have no theory the way it may well be obtainable to specify the beginning...we've a good option how the universe started, yet until we decide how existence got here into being (how organic and organic compounds mixed in this type of trend as to permit micro organism to go, eat, and reproduce, and later evolve, and what shaped each and all the large form of distinctive species that have ever lived in this earth), this question is merely previous the scope of recent technology...

Are you aware of the human ASPM gene? It's the gene that controls the extent of human brain growth and that in itself is sufficient to provide a biological cause for the development of higher order reasoning and consciousness in humans- no need for God when we have a viable natural explanation.

I love it, '...the origins of consciousness in 'light' of the discovery of the beginning of our space/time continuum...'
Yes, if you use your own consciousness as the laboratory, you will definitely find 'God'.

-----here's a clue, the 'point of singularity' is the 'eye of the needle' mentioned in the bible.

Whew, way over my head.

What evidence of the creation account? Nevermind, don't answer that, unless you can do it in a language that this simple girl from Texas can understand.
