I am 14 and have never had a boyfriend or a kiss before. I live in a small town so there is not a lot of guys to choose from. Nobody really goes out with each other at my school and if they did it was like in 3rd grade. What I am wondering is: When I get into High School and I am around the age of like 16 will there be more people asking each other out and going on dates? I would like to get my first boyfriend in my sophomore year of High School because I don't really think I am ready yet. Will things change?

I was the same way... just don't waste your kiss.. make sure it is with someone really like.. things willl start to change and you will start liking the same boys that your prolly not interested in now.. give it about 2 more years and you'll have a boyfriend on the hold.. lol

The one thing you will realize the older you get is the only thing constant in life is CHANGE. Dont worry about anything especially boyfriends and this is coming from a 21 yo male. lol. relationships will just compound your life if your not ready for them. granted it is nice to have someone you can trust and depend on by your side but like everything else in this wierd world we live in it has its pros and cons. Everyone at your age thinks about relantionships and having a boyfriend.
But when you get older you realize that you will have the chance to date someone..and guess what...it is not that much fun as you think.
Cuz man are not like we want...caring, loveable...instead they try to use you to make you feel miserable about yourself...
except when you find the right one.
Please forgive me I didn't want to scare you.,probably yo uare not ready to hear this...but I want to give you one advice...please choose with who you are going to be...cuz not all man are good and don't let anyone to take your energy.
