Short answer--he just didn't. Didn't fulfill the prophecies before he died (list to follow) was supposed to be a mortal man and NOT a man/god creation, and wasn't supposed to be a suffering servant.

Long answer--he didn't do any of these things before he died:

Were all Jews returned to Israel? (Isaiah 43:5-6, Isaiah 11:12, Isaiah 27:12-13)

Did he bring physical restoration to all who are sick or disabled in any way? (Isaiah
35:5-6)
Was he preceded by Elijah? (Malachi 3:23-24-- 4:4-5 in KJV)
Did the nations help the Jews materially? (Isaiah 60:5, 60:10-12, 61:6)

Are the dead resurrected? (Isaiah 26:19, Daniel 12:2, Ezekiel 37:12-13)

Anyone who believes in J*sus as anything more than a mortal is not Jewish, but a Chrstian pretending to be so in order to convert Jews.

As for Muhammed, he didn't do those things either, this is why the Jews rejected him. He's also not a Jewish prophet. I can't say anything for Chrstians though.

Well, both Judaism and Christianity have scriptures which warn them that their scriptures are complete and will not be added to. The Jews didn't (and don't) accept Jesus because he is irrelevent to their faith; he failed to fulfill a single messianic prophecy, so he's not the messiah for whom they continue to wait. And neither did Mohammad.

I cannot speak for the Jews, why they did not accept their Messiah. All the Old Testament points to Jesus Christ. As for Christians not accepting Mohammed, because he is not mentioned in the Bible, which to us is the Word of God and also because Jesus told us that He is the only way to the Father.

Jesus was both human and divine. Mohammad was only human. Christians accept the divinity of Jesus as the Son of God. They don't worship a human with the exception of Catholics I mean. They worship Mary who was human and had other children after Jesus. (Which there was proof in the bible. But Jesus had NO wife)
It's just what you want to believe in, what makes you comfortable. If Islam wasn't so kill, kill, kill everyone, maybe we could get along but I'm afraid of them. Last month an 18 year old muslim man went into a mall saying he was going to kill as many people as he could. He killed 5 people and wounded 4 before he was killed. Now that's tragic. Eighteen years old and died a murderer for Islam. Was it necessary to kill innocent people? No, it wasn't. And this was in America, an American mall. If they stopped then we would stop. It's as simple as that.

Edit: Angel, the jews did not kill Jesus. The Romans had imposters in the crowds and half of the crowds that welcomed Him into the city weren't there that day. The Romans killed Jesus.

Some of them do, but some of them don't. It's all a matter of what a person chooses to believe. There are millions of people who do accept Jesus and Mohammad. There are just many different versions out there.

Many Jews did accept Jesus. The point isn't to reach unity with each other, but to reach unity with God. If we are united to Him, we will be united to each other.

mohammad made claims contrary to Jesus, which is why Christians don't accept him.

well let me ask you a question. the messiah is supposed to come and bring an everlasting peace and he/she is supposed to be immortal. both mohammad and jesus died. jesus died by being hit with a nail mohammad died from natural causes. both started angry mobs. even as a unity as one in general it would never last because then the large group would take over the world then there would be revolts from the inside as the leaders oppresed the common people. history is bound to repeat itself

the difference is excepting ones faith or what one prophet believed on who God is to him,

where as in Christ all Jews did not believe that Jesus was the son of God and it is possible as I feel in Christ as he gave his heart to people and gave his teachings to mankind 2b moral
as in Murhammad it is how one believe how he taught others that followed him

the ideology of religion is how is taught. no matter how other theologies debate it there will always be a answer but all faith is taught how one believes it

as Christ taught his 12 disciple's to go out in the world and spread the word but as one is taught they will teach it differently cause everything is not taught the same how one teaches it from every budy else

Many Jews do accept Jesus as The Messiah now, Messianic Jews, because it's the truth. No one should accept Muhammad. He did not fulfill any prophesies, is not The Son of God and was never needed by God.

May God Bless you.

The Jewish religion doesn't accept the "proof" of Jesus as Messaiah and no one gets behind a religion whose book openly attacks your religion and is founded by a guy who marries 6 year olds.

Maybe you think all that's cool, but most of the world doesn't.
