OK I'm using BS numbers but just to illustrate your point.
Lets say there's over a million species of animal and insect (there would have to be, since evolution is impossible). And the average size from an Elephant to an ant is 1 ft long by .6 ft high by .6 ft long. That means you have to have 72 million ft cubed (and that's just to stack the animals...we're not even talking cages or stalls or anything).
But you also need room for 2 months worth of food and supplies. Lets say on average each animal eats .6 lb food a day. You'd need 1.2 million pounds of food.
Not to mention methods of waste. A handful of passengers couldn't handle all that waste, so you'd need a sophisticated plumbing system, which would easily add another 1million feet cubed.
Also, the flood would have washed away ALL THE FOOD ON EARTH, so you need another years worth in the hopes that some seeds have survived and can grow...

Apparentally it was over 3 stories high and as long as 36 tennis courts! 450 feet long, or, 522 standard American railroad stock cars. But I don't think all animals existed back then. Noah might have also carried only a "kind" of animal, like a cat to represent all cats in the animal kingdom, not each species. Hope this helps, I just learned something new too!

The ark is to be made out of gopher wood according to a plan that calls for the ark to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide, and thirty cubits tall (450x75x45 feet, according to most creationists). This must contain ALL the animals, AND food for x days. Bwahahaha!
This article demolishes any hopes of taking the global flood story literally: http://www.ncseweb.org/resources/articles/8619_issue_11_volume_4_number_1__3_12_2003.asp

God brought the animals to Noah. I doubt if they were full grown, I think they were all babies. The size is told in Genesis 6:15 ,16. I have to laugh at some of the answers that you have gotten. These folks are doing the same thing the folks in Noah's day did, they laughed. Who got the last laugh?

How big was the Ark, and how many animals had to fit on it?”
Noah's Ark was at least 135 meters long (300 cubits), 22.5 meters wide (50 cubits), and 13.5 meters high (30 cubits). It could have been larger because several larger-sized cubits were used. But the 45-centimeter (18-inch) cubit is long enough to show the enormous size of the Ark.
Noah's Ark was three stories high (Genesis 6:16). This made its total deck area equivalent to the area of about 36 lawn tennis courts. The average size of animal is about the size of an adult sheep. From this, scientists have calculated that the Ark could have held about 522 railroad stock cars full of sheep-sized animals. This is eight freight trains with 65 carriages on each!
Remember too that not every creature had to go on the Ark. Fish and other sea creatures didn't go on, and they account for a very large percentage of the world's animals. It was only land-dwelling, air-breathing animals that went on the Ark — and even many of them are very small, such as spiders, worms, beetles, etc.
When we realize that not every shade of butterfly, snake, kangaroo, or whatever had to go on board — just major “kinds” — we find that there might have been only about 35,000 animals on board.
So the question is not so much how did they all fit, but what did Noah use all the left-over room for?

A) Not only two of every creature, but SEVEN of certain species.
B) About the size of New Jersey oughta do it, if you don't think the critters will mind cramped conditions and munching on grains and lapping nothing but milk for several months.
C) Personally, I wouldn't want to try housing rabbits anywhere near coyotes, for instance. Unless the rabbits did their rabbitty thing with great frequency you'd run outta rabbits in a hurry.
D) Besides, the whole story is just one part of the great Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh, which has a lotta neat stuff in it. The authors of Genesis weren't above a little literary plagiarism in order to make their central point, ie, that there is only ONE GOD and Yahweh is Him and He's the creator and sustainer of EVERYTHING in creation, and I do mean EVERYTHING!

If two of all the animals of the world had to go on that one ship , a ship five times the size of the ark wouldn't have been adequate. What most people are missing is the fact that although the flood was very large it was for the most part regional or local if you will. The reason it was local was the target/ reason for the flood was the offspring of the nephilim and earthly woman . These offspring were localized , and so the flood was localized. There was no need to flood the whole world. Hey it is your right to not want there to be a god that is strictly your choice and i certainly will honor that right.

Noah's Ark did exist. The bible says it was 600 cubics by 600 cubics .At that time there wasn't any insects are frogs.Moses was the one who started them later . the biggest problem was storing enough food for all .forty days and nights it rained.then they had to wait for the water to subside.?How long was that .

Fu*kin' humongous bro! The Titanic, & then some..
There would be no way it could possibly have been made to float, with the limited technology available at the time it was 'supposedly' built.
Yet another fairy story, brought to you by the big book of jebus, cod, & other tall tales..
