I think I answered this one posted under a different topic...but I say go with the Poker Night theme. Package of diapers are the buy in...a great gift certificate for the winner. (Just make sure to tell the guys EXACTLY what types of diapers to get...single guys might not have any idea about these things!)

Also...good at the party could be:

BABY back ribs
BABY spinach salad
BABY carrots and dip
(theme here...not a hole lot of guy-friendly food with baby in it, though)

Also...here is a great, funny, gift for the new dad. Get a toolbelt (a new one). Fill it with rubber gloves, travel-sized wipes (the ones that come in the hard container), powder, diaper cream, a few diapers, barbecue tongs, little plastic garbage bags, air freshner, and a couple of toys for baby.
DADDY'S DIAPER DUTY KIT!!!

Have fun with it...I think this is a GREAT idea and I hope you do this. More men should get involved with the baby festivities.

Women are great at planning these type of social events. They gather together in the forest and get giddy, decide who is bringing the different food dishes and drinks. They also have this psychic ability to come up with, unheard of by man, games that are themed for the event. So I guess the formula goes like this; Place, date & time, who's bringing what and who is in charge of the "games". Most important of all, is it a surprise party or what? One game that I thought of, is get a life like baby doll with a "soiled" diaper. Time which guy/person who can change the baby the quickest. ( oh, don't forget the prizes!). Anyway, it all sounds "kinda fem" , but, I think it can be fun and more than needed to celebrate both parents to be. So what is a guy party without videos? Find those "funniest" videos where the dad gets "peed " in the face while changing the baby. Shots to the groin gets laughs also. (go figure) Good luck and a heart felt "Congratulations!" to the parents to be. Oh, just thought of another game, try having everyone pick a name for the baby, put them in a hat and pull them otu one at a time and read them out loud. Give prizes for the most ridiculous, nerdy, best , etc.

sure! this is a great idea. you can play games like at baby showers for women. All the guys can get together and play games that are about being a dad and having a baby. You can give him presents like books about fatherhood, etc. Oh and there is this game where at baby showers the woman opens the presents and everyone sees them. then she hides them and the other women have to remember what she got off the top of their heads. Because you guys will be drinking and memory will be impaired this will be even more fun for you guys! You guys could have a lot of fun.

I like the idea. Have a contest to see who can change the diaper the fastest. Make it fun by putting mud or baby food in the diaper on the doll. Make sure you have a judge. Have daddy to be taste test unlabeled jars of baby food and determine what it is. After all he will be feeding it one day.
Have fun, don't get too drunk that mom to be is not happy! I like the diaper admission idea above.

Ive by no skill heard of a "male" toddler bathe. in spite of the indisputable fact that I even have heard of "couples" toddler showers the place the two mom and dad as contemporary to recieve the presents and be the focal element {when you consider that that often is the final time as quickly as the toddler is born}. additionally the two men and ladies attend the bathe. Ive by no skill properly-known the adult men to play the stupid little video games commonly they watch for the presents to be opened then bypass off into the kitchen and consume by way of ways my first new child would be 14 in some weeks, and we actual have a 9 month previous. We tried for over 10 yrs to have this little guy could have been wonderful had my husband attended our bathe

Great idea! Make fun games. See who can drink from the bottle fastest, change a diaper, etc... That should be interesting to see with a bunch of guys. Congrats soon to be uncle! :)

i think its a great idea.... you may want to look up baby shower games and pick some that are less girly- maybe a memory game of baby stuff... but some drinks would probably help being that men aren't as eager to sit around for a few hours gushing over babies.
