I would like to hang a moose head that I have in the living room. The question I have is on the location where the wall meets the cieling. How thick is the wood in this spot. Is it strong enough to place two ancors in this location and hang the moose from it with chains.

find the studs and you shouldn't have any problem,
could even go with the ceiling rafters.

I for one think it is disgusting to hang the dead head of anything in the living room. Hang it in the game room or rec room or basement or garage/

It depends on your house and how it was build as to how thick the wood is in any given spot.

You had better find your studs and put into them. If you are going right into the L area you should go right into them. I sure hope you are doing a Lodge look. If so, it's going to be great. Good Luck and God Bless
