At that age, the age difference is much bigger than, say, 25 and 34. Ignoring the fact that it's illegal, trust me; you'll be way more mature in just two years and chances are, he's only saying he loves you because you're there, as terrible as it sounds. Most guys are creeps. If he truely loves you, he'll wait until you're of age.

That's a pretty big difference, especially because you're so young. If you really love each other, then maybe you should put off dating for a few years. Definitely don't get yourself involved in any sexual acts with him, since that's illegal. Again, I think the best thing to do is wait. You're both at different stages in your life.

it might work. it might not. 10 years is no biggie really but 16 isn't yet finished growing up is it & you'll change a lot over the next few years. you wont know til you give it a try though I guess.

He is too old for you, most guys that age just say they love you so they can have sex with you, and talk to your parents about this.

he is TOO old for you. why can't he find someone his own age?
maybe it's not working because of the fact that it could be considered statutory rape.
if he TRULY loves you, he can wait 2 years so you can legally be together.
