I had no idea, until a few days ago when I signed up here, that there was any tension between Christians and Muslims. What did I miss? Why all the talk. I see it everywhere here! Lots of Why do Christians hate Muslims, etc. I don't hate Muslims! I never have! Where on earth did this mass assumption start? How can we end it? Noone can cast a generalized hatred like that. If there were only 5 muslims in the workld and all of them were all around terrible people we could maybe say that. But there are vast numbers, the majority of whom I'm sure are caring, law and god abiding folk. So what gives?

If muslims looked on Americans as just another people, they would offer hospitality and friendship as the koran would command given to any stranger. However radical view is that Christianity and by (faulty) extention Americans are infidels. This changes the people who should be deserving the good grace of God into Demons. This demonization process has unfortunate roots in the "crusades" as we also have this ability to turn any adversary in the devil (just consider how Japs and Jerrys were portrayed in WWII movies). This is why the recent reference by the Pope to old writings demonizing the muslims raised such a stir, the fire does not need gasoline.

Most normal people can look at others and NOT see demons. It should always be this way, anything different is just so much propaganda being promoted by those without the love of God in their heart.

The bible said we are not supposed to hate any body the second command of Jesus is to love everybody, but if you see the news USA (Christian nation) is in war with muslim because Muslim Hates Jewish, and Christian believe that Jews are the God people which is false, because the old covenant with Jesus finish after Jesus came, you can read Daniel 9:24-27 and Matthews23:37 that explain the finsih of the covenant with the ancient Israel, Jewish are for God like anyone else, he is not partial (Acts 10:34-36)

Christians are accused of hating Muslims. But that is a false assuption or false accusation. Muslims have accused me of spreading hate, etc. But they are wrong.

Christians are commanded of the Lord to Love God with all their heart, mind, soul & strength. Love others as self. Love enemies also. When I see a Muslim, I see a person, not their religion.

I do hate their religion, in that it is clearly antichrist, in that it condemns the foundational confession & heart faith in Jesus Christ our Lord, and Son of the Living God. Who is the Savior of the world, in that God so loved the world that He sent His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but will inherit ever lasting life. That is the Jesus of the Gospels of Christ. Jesus Christ of Nazareth who is more than a Prophet.

I guestimate that Islam is one of the top persecuters of Christians. http://www.TheReligionofPeace.com .

You can't generalise and say all Muslims are bad, or all Christians are bad. You have to take people as you find them. One of my best friends is Sheik and we get on very well. I'm C.of E., myself. Not that I am religious. But live and let live!

I agree with what you say. I think people fear what they don't understand. Many have not bothered to learn the Musim beliefs and cast judgment based on what they have heard in the media. It's a shame, because that's really not the way it is. There are many wonderful Christians and Muslims alike.

first element of all, None are terrorists or despite you call them ,enormously the country as an entire.a individual is pushed by making use of his very own recommendations. If every physique desires to harm others, in straight forward terms he's to be blamed and not others. I purely are not getting the explanation why the folk of one faith are at the back of the others backs.

Christians do not hate and have never hated Muslims. The Muslims and Jews never got along. The Christians and Jews are friends, so the Muslims now hate the Christians.
