Visit the vet to make sure that she is OK. The vet would be the best source of information to answer your question. Good luck and hope that your doggie puts some weight on! :)

That's a tape worm. 90% of the food is going to the worm which is encircling inside. Need to get to a vet ASAP. Good luck.

I thought my dog (dachsund and terrier) was underweight, and took him to the vet. They told me they are considered underweight when you can feel their hip bones. So take ur dog and see if you can feel his hips poking out. If they feel like they have some fat, I wouldn't worry! But of course I would advise taking the dog to the vet just to check.

Well first off I could go to the vets and see whats wrong. Then get whatever she needs to get, like shots and stuff.

try a better quality kibble... also try probiotics and enzymes...these work together to aid in the breaking down of food and the absorption of food. she isn't getting enough from what she is eating... it could be the food it could be her. this will help a lot... has she been wormed lately..she should.

Could be worms.
Could be a thyroid problem, especially if she is older.
Could be diabetes, especially if she's older.
Take her to the vet this week.
