Or dick but not cock? Isn't this language filter a little puerile?

first word, three letter-word for the human rear, and a common term for Equus asinus.

Second word, another word for rooster.

Well, thanks to Bad Squirrel, we now understand that ************ is fine, because if it's your Mom it musn't be dirty. However, motherf**ING is not OK because you're not supposed to screw with anyone else's mother. Such a high number of children are bastards today because their fathers sit on their shitasses doing nothing but reading Penthouse and playing with their cocksocks. Those fuckaducks.

Oh, God, the children! Children, I'm sorry! I hope Yahoo stars out all of my horrific words! Then again, some of you might have escaped from the closet and heard such swearing on the street, in school, and from your parents. Sad, yes, but true.

I've come to the conclusion that the people who regulateYahoo Answers are not from America. Certain words that we Americans take for bad, are common words in their (whoever they are) in their society. In certain countries the "N" word is not bad because they have no black people in their country and dick could take on a whole new meaning.

All you have to do is modify or combine words.
ex: if the word duck is not allowed, say duk, duc, dck, d*u*c*k, d*uck, duc k, etc.
If you are calling someone a mother ducker, you can say:
motherducker (no space), mother dcker, mother-ducker, etc.

I don't understand allot of what YA does. The only answers I ever have deleted are the innocent honest ones.

Why does the Y!A spellcheck deny the existence of dugongs and suggest the word dongs? This is bad since so many are injured by propellers.

The language filter is retarded that's all I can say. But the requirement for decency is good too.

It's sort of like the FCC's seven sinful words.

HEY, Let's see how many of them Yahoo frowns on!

1. ****
2. piss
3. ****
4. ****
5. **********
6. ************
7. ****

You can't say ***** which in the UK is more commonly used to describe a female dog than as a pejorative term.

Yahoo Answers makes absolutely no sense when you think about it. It just is what it is.
