To Whom it May Concern,

It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Maliek Heath to receive a work permit. I have been a classmate and friend of Maliek Heath since the third grade. First and foremost, Maliek is a hard worker. Maliek is intelligent, responsible, honest, diligent in his work, and he uses his time wisely. Whenever a project is assigned, Maliek is the first to talk about how he will do his. He sees to it that his work is the best. He has always been on honor roll and in the accelerated program since I knew him. Secondly, Maliek has excellent social skills. He works well in a group or on a team, because he has a lot to offer. He has a great sense of humor, but he doesn’t let it get in the way of his work. His personality is very jocular and jovial. Finally, Maliek has good leaderships skills. He sets the example for the followers. He is an overachiever. Maliek is the one to take charge to see that things are done correctly.

Sincerly,

Quincy

I think you've done a great job!

Well planned and thought out, all points covered, good structure, right by the book.

Don't need to change a thing. :)

If you are just looking for creative alternatives, here's my input:

It is a sincere pleasure and honor to recommend MH for a work permit. I have been a classmate and friend of Maliek's since the third grade and feel I know him very well. I delight in sharing my observations with you.

Maliek is a hard worker who exemplifies diligence, personal integrity and academic achievement. He is an honor roll student and has been in accelerated programs as long as I've known him. A wise manager of time, Maliek thrives under pressure and exhibits keen leadership skills. His projects begin and finish on time and he sets the standard for others to follow.

Maliek has excellent social skills. Exchanging ideas with others in a group or team environment is something he greatly enjoys and his friendly attitude and jovial personality make him easily approachable and well liked among his peers.

I make this recommendation without hesitation and sincerely hope you will consider Maliek deserving of a work permit.

Regards,
