IIf my understanding of Revelations is correct, then there will actually be two Raptures.

The first of these upliftings will occur when God Raptures the forgiven. With the forgiven in Heaven, a period called the Tribulation will begin during which those who have found God in the wake of the Rapture, will battle the forces of Satan. This conflict will cumulate with Satan’s forces pouring down the Jezreel Valley, from the city of Megiddo, towards the forces of God, which are afraid around the city of Jerusalem.

Immediately before Satan’s forces breach the defenses of the Christians, God will rapture the defenders, descend to Earth and defeat the forces of Satan, thus beginning the 1,000 year reign of peace.

Since God will rapture all those who die fighting Satan, and who survive until the end of the war, there seem to be no negative consequences to missing the first rapture, so long as you convert afterwards.

On the other hand, by remaining on Earth, and waiting for the second Rapture, there would be the opportunity to gain glory battling the forces of Satan and possibly surviving to see what would be the greatest battle man has ever witnessed. Thus, since God would rapture all those who die in this battle, there seem to be no negative consequences for remaining on Earth, and many benefits in doing so.

Is it wrong to want to wait for the Second Rapture???

I hate to imform you of this fellow Christian, but the rapture is a mere fallacy that is not even in the Bible. John Nelson Darby, a dispensationalist from the 1830's who had purposely misinterpreted and take passages of scripture out of context to fool the Christian population into believing that they can escape the tribulation! This is called Dispensationalism........He was a "false prophet" who came as a wolf in sheep's clothing of which Jesus had prophisied about. He did this only to increase the membership and the following in his church and line his own pockets with gold........The Potestant churches liked that idea because it made them a whole lot of money. They still perpetuate that false hope today in mostly all of their churches for the same reasons. It is sad but true........The cold hard truth is, you will be here for the tribulation. You are not going to poof into to heaven and wait a couple of years as you watch the slaughter of the Human race going on. God does not work that way and that is not in His character. It doesn't make sense now does it?.......If you really are a true Christian, a part of Jesus's "little flock" that are one of the Philadelphia era churches of which Jesus prophesies about in the book of Revelation, you will merely be removed out of harms way by the divine intervetion of God. Jesus is not coming back (in earths atmosphere) more than once as the Bible states; the Second Coming, not the Third.....and when He does it will be at the blast of the 7th trumpet. The days will be cut short for the sake of the elect (Gods true believers) and Jesus will return to stop the imminent innihilation of manking from the face of the earth. That is when the dead in Christ are raised first and then we who are still living will be changed (born again) in the "blink of an eye" into new glorified spirit being bodies. We will be caught up in the clouds and gathered by the Angels of God from the 4 winds (all around the earth) of heaven and taken to where Jesus is at the Mt. of Olives in Jerusalem. He will then destroy the beast and his massive army who dare to wage war against Him. Jesus will bind Satan and cast him in the pit for 1000 yrs. Jesus will judge the human race, and then He will establish His Throne and government in Jerusalem where He and His saints will reign for the Millennium (1000 yr) rule in the Kingdom of God on earth.

The "Rapture" isn't something greater effective than heat fuzzies. It replaced into some thing to make christians experience greater effective approximately no longer having to for the duration of the tribulation. The 2d coming of the Messiah is real. it is going to ensue in spite of our perception in it. the real believers would be caught as much as meet Messiah interior the air and then we can rule over the Earth for one thousand years with Yahshua. there's a large difference interior the schedule of activities between the Rapture and the 2nd Coming. Many have faith that the rapture is on the beginning up of the tribulation, that's misguided. The "catching up" would be while the Messiah returns on the sound of the large Trump (Yom Turuah).

Do you have the scripture reference for a 2nd rapture?

The battle in the valley of armageddon will quicken Israel. When Jesus returns Israel will realize that he is the Messiah.

Aside from that what good would it do to withhold worship from God so that you can witness a battle on earth?

F' no! Man, I'm glad you told me about this. That is going to kick butt! I'm with you, second rapture it is. Just one question. What happens if you die before the first rapture shows up? What's the standard then?

what most believe as the rapture before the tribulation will not happen. we all must go through the tribulation. i guess you could say this is where we will be tested to see where we truly stand in our faith. then After the tribulation Jesus will return and there will be 1,000 years of peace.

is this battle plan supposed to be a secret ? wouldn't you think that if Satan has full knowledge of god's strategy and that Satan will loose regardless, he might just stay at home that day and not bother. seems like the synopsis of a computer game to me.

After the rapture those who refuse the mark will be killed - beheaded most likely.

If you do not accept Christ's salvation today, while it is free, what makes you think you will accept Him when it will cost you your life?
