I have been friends w/ this boy for a really long time and we're going to prom w/ him. I like him and i dont know how to tell him. Prom is in 1 month. I dont want to feel weird around him at prom.

I'm a fan of putting the cards on the table and not playing head games. You don't have to come on strong, but share with him how you feel.
A big point I want to make is to remind you that in the sceme of life, prom is just an event. Don't make more of it than it is. Meaning, don't over plan and set these super high expectations, only to be disappointed. Go to prom, have a good time, and remember that life goes on the next day.

if you like him, then tell him at prom. write down all the things you like about him and tell him then. do it when you too are alone, face to face when you are slow dancing perhaps. i think that'd be really romantic.
