I agree. I also find it odd that they attribute human features, gender, emotions, wants, desires, etc. to a deity who is supposed to have created it all.

I do. I remember one night I was on a ranch out in the Texas hill country to help conduct a bird survey. There was very little artificial light at night and we were scoping the stars. I scanned the sky and caught my breath. I turned to a friend who is also an atheist and said "THIS is why I don't believe in God!" It makes me realize the arrogance of people thinking that if there was a creator that he would have time to find them a good parking place in the mall!

There are so many things I can shoot down....but I'll choose just one, for I use to believe all the stuff you do.
Research how they measure a star. Then research geometry and how it works. Then once you understand both, realize that how they use it, doesn't work, against basic laws of geometry.
I could explain it all, but you won't believe me. So I give you the challenge to spend at least 8 hrs on each, studying it, researching it, and making notes just like a class. I guarantee you after 16 hrs of research you will see what I say and then ask yourself.....whoa.....wtf?!
Then you will question other things you have been told. Then the picture will start to show itself. This is exactly how I came to believe. Walked as an atheist for 30 yrs....and during my studies on 9/11, JFK, Freemasons, and all that other stuff, I used the Bible a few times strictly as a reference. But as I did my studies on the stuff......I realized....huh...Bible did say that.....then another...huh, Bible was right again.
Never sought out to believe in it, follow it, nothing. Just was doing atheist research on a different topic...and I got lead to it....by science.

I get the feeling that no one knows how vast and complicated the universe is, including myself. Someone that claims to know all, is just arrogant, unless it is God.

Sure we do. That's why we think there has to be a God, a Creator.
That vast and complicated thing just can't happen accidentally on it's own!

I've subscribed to Astronomy magazine when I was an atheist and when I've believed in G-d. Same subscription price :)
One judaism belief I like is that G-d recreates everything in every moment, all of the matter and all of the laws of physics and time. Now *that's* complicated.

I definitiely get the impression that their universe is not infinite... not all, of course, but many on this forum apppear to limit their comprehension to a single book. Not that any of us even understand a tiny fraction of the universe.

The exact reason we are theist. The odds of something as simple as an eye ball randomly mutating is simply laughable. No let's take in the whole Universe and you can see our point.

Milk-y Way... is for Babes carried away to Baby-lon x 2:
Babe->Child->Man->Perfect-Man-Christ: the end of law.
God our Saviour: Head of Christ, is the end of law<-law.

His "Grace" is neither of the two "law"s in Mt 22 & Rom 8.
