and he is part of god, before he existed AS Jesus, he was God, right?

then before we existed as people, we were part of God too, right?

so when we die do we return to being part of God then?

God also made the angels and the Devil too, didnt he?

so does it matted which 'side' we are on? if we are good or evil, cos everything is God anyhow?

If God isnt Jesus, then Christians aren't monotheistic, they are polytheists?

GOD did not create His Son. The Son was born not created.

We are part of God. We have all of the qualities of God, but in minute quantity. We can never be as great as God, that is the difference. God is unlimited, and we are limited. God is uncontrolled, and we are controlled. God is the served, and we are the servant. This is our constitutionally created position. There is never a time when we can exist apart from God, because God Himself is the source of our existence. Even though God is remaining in His abode, He is continually the source of, and the maintainer of, the living entities.

The sun is in the sky, but the sunlight is in your room. You can understand that the sun is the source of the light, but you do not say that the sun itself is in your room. Also, the sun is acting on plants and water, and distributing heat, in the form of sunshine, but the sun personally is still in the sky. Wrong. You start out with an untruth. God did not create Jesus. Jesus as part of the trinity was here from the beginning. The Book of John says in chapter 1:

In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God (The Father), and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.

God has made us to be separate decision making individuals. You are defined by your decisions. As such we are not God, we are individuals with free will. We can decide to be for or against God, so the question of good or evil does matter.

As I understand it, God has three aspects of Himself: Father, Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit.

My practical understanding of this concept is that God is trinity in a similar way that I am triune: body, mind, and soul. Those three entities are separate and yet they are one. It is even possible that they can exist in separate dimensions or states.

Jesus is the "Word" of God. He was there in the beginning, and instrumental in creation. He is not a created being.

At His earthly birth, He became the Word of God in the flesh. He didn't cease being God.
