She will be in heat for about 4-5 days. If she doesn't breed, she will go back into heat every 10 or so days until she is either spayed or bred. She really needs to be spayed. She is miserable and I don't think anybody has ready homes for up to 13 kittens. Be careful, she will try to escape and go get "relieved". Cats are expert escape artists. Get her to the vet ASAP! I just recently experienced the downside of not having a
female cat spayed at 5 months. First time in heat, can
rob you of your sleep as she calls out for a male day & night.
My VCA Vet said heat can last one week to A MONTH!

You might try a cold bath and then it's only a few minutes.
