I don't know anything about Muslim law or tradition but ex-wives CAN have inheritance rights. It's a complicated legal issue so you ought to get some legal advice.

My Mom inherited from my Dad even though they had been divorced for 5 years when he died.

So once you're dead will it upset you? *shrug*

if you divorce with your ex wife before death and without children, the answer is no but if you divorce with your ex wife before death and have a children who stay with her, then the answer is yes.

once you get divorced she has no rights. if you have children from her, they, the children do have rights.
