stupid I know but the "logic" behind it is if in the unlikely event of a fire the bus driver would have to unbuckle everyone and no one would be saved. That is the argument I have been told. Also to make sure the little kids are buckled in the driver would have to do it himself and would probably be late everyday, That is probably the Real reason saftey,

Getting a kid to unhook a seat belt in the case of a serious accident is still a big question. School corporations are afraid that the kids may be trapped inside, so you can understand their hesitation. Statistics show they are just as safe in a school bus without a belt.

i think of that's a good concept. i do no longer think of it would take them too lots longer to get off the bus than it does now. the infants might understand their provide up grew to become into coming and have their seat belt undone long before the bus got here to an entire provide up. I additionally think of having seat belts on the bus might forestall all those young infants from status up at the same time as the bus is going. daily as quickly as I %. my young infants up from college we fallow 2 buses by way of city, and each of how by way of city extra or less a million/3 to a million/2 of the bus young infants are status interior the aisle way or of their seat. Had that been my young infants in my automobile dealing with city status up i might get pulled over and fined. additionally the only harm you pronounced grew to become into dying. What approximately different achieveable injuries that should consequence from a bus coincidence? What if shall we are saying the bus grew to become into in a roll over coincidence those young infants may be tossed around like popcorn in a popcorn popper. broken bones, busted noses, concussion, etc all that would have been prevented by making use of the easy use of a seat belt. and that i'm specific those injuries have got here approximately.

I dont know, I always think of that. The bus driver has a seat belt though. I think all the seats should have some seat belts. There should be 2 seat belts in every single seat.

I always think abou that...SO damn stupid. I hate being in a car w/ no seat belts...Its the same as being in a taxi, those guys drive like lunitics and still you sit back and just watch him swerve in and out and speed

IDK, why kids think once they're on that Yellow Bus, they are safe, they aint even close to it!

A lot of government agency's are asking the same question. They say it's the expense right now. But I agree with you they should be wearing seat belts. Although with kids, it would be hard to enforce.
