To be on your own? A complete unknown? With no direction home? Like a rolling stone?
More to the point, what do you think of Bob Dylan's influence as a musician and an historical figure? How did he manage to be so popular as an artist with two hugely different songs in Blowin in the Wind and Like a Rolling Stone?

My sister actually thinks he's "hot"- I think he's unique and has a poets heart which has made him appealing to deep souls. He's an icon, but I wouldn't consider him a historical figure, although he will always be a figure in the history of music.

Because he wrote songs that were the "State of the Union" about what was going on in people's hearts and minds during those times. He still does it.

I thought Dylan was average. I like his son's work in Wallflowers better. My husband's favorite is Eric Clapton
he is very unique and is an awesome guitarist/singer.
