I've had my eyebrow pierced now for almost 4 years. I'm looking to get another piercing. I can not decide which one I want next though.. I really like the monroe ( which is placed where Marilyn Monroe had her birthmark) and one of those itty bitty nose rings.
What are your experiences with either of those piercings? Which hurt more?

Both hurt, how bad is something no one can tell you since we all feel pain differently. I would say that for the average person, nostril piercings do hurt more than lip piercings.
I have both and didn't experience any problems with them. When they were done, they didn't hurt too badly in my opinion, just a little stinging feeling and my eyes watered up. The nose was sore longer than the lip, but that lasted only a little more than a week. I kept them clean and they've been fine since I got them.
Easy to take care of and you shouldn't have problems with them if you are careful. I personally like the Monroe better, but get which ever you like.

Well i had just done my nose two fridays ago. I have two medium size tattoos, and a baby just on new years so i can handle pain pretty good now. But the nose just made my right eye tear up. It did nt hurt much by end of day if you kinda move it around. Good luck bith piercings are cute!!

i have 13 piercings and worked in a studio, saw a lot of problems with the nose, i have a medusa in my top lip and a labret in my bottom. The monroe was popular a couple of years ago but seems to have lost its lustre somewhat. The medusa and labret never date, but, its whatever you want, its you that has to live with it, i think the nose is funky, but not without its problems. Good Luck with it all

I have a nose ring and it hurt real bad for just a few seconds when they pierced it. It took a long time to heal completely, it oozed for a bit and was very tender. Just need to clean it good and watch face cleansers with exfoliating scrubs and make-up, etc.

I got my nose done about 4 years ago and it never healed. My poor nose was in so much pain the entire time! No one couldn't pay me to get it done again! I had to go to work w/ these huge sores on it from me cleaning it, and normal healing. My mother helped me change the stud, yea I even got my mother involved! I wouldn't get it! :)

I pierced my own nose with an earing and it didnt hurt at all. I would get the nose piercing.
