Why ought to Jehovah's Witnesses think of there is an area interior the Bible that declares that? Your question is stupid and immature. R.C. Redding you commit a extensive form of time discrediting Jehovah's Witnesses in the returned of the internet and yet supply no longer some element certainly or your individual ideals. What are your ideals? What denomination do you stand for? Which church are you from? You seem an "unusual" guy or female.

I'm not a JW, but I do believe in dressing my best to go to church. It shows respect. At least that's what I think. It never says how to dress in the bible, I think the Lord wanted us to think for ourselves, but I also think that the better I look, the more respect I show to God and Christ. The men in my church usually wear white shirts and ties (if they are passing the sacrament- Communion), or at least a really nice dress shirt, slacks and a tie. The ladies dress in dresses or skirts and nice shirts. To us, it's an outward example of respect.

Paul admonishes us to wear suitable clothing when engaged in the worship of God. By suitable he means garb that shows that you are cognizant of the respect due to the Lord your God.

Nowadays that means a suit and tie for the men, modest dresses or skirts and blouses for the women.

FYI: I'm not a Witness. I'm a Catholic theologian.

There is no dress code in the Bible as far as I know. But you will have an understanding what to wear. I personally like to dress up. : )

As far as I know, it doesn't say you have to wear a suit and tie in the Christian Bible.....so when I go to church, I never do.

I believe we should Honor God in our dress, so should wear our best, and smell our best, when assembling together with the Saints.

But if God told me to go to church, and I didn't have the time to smell or dress my best, it is better to go to church smelly and dressed as is.

Of course, God wouldn't ask us to go to church indecent.
