Im looking to buy a car from a police auction, how much do they usually go for? when you bid on a car do they tell you its faults? I dont want to buy a car that has problems that I dont know about, how are the qualit of these cars? any info will help thanks!

I've bought 2 cars from a police auction a 90 honda civic $600.00 only needed batt. ran just fine and a saturn for 600.00 that needed a fuel pump so its a give take situation. usually you can go a day before and look at the cars. you really dont know whats wrong if anything. its an auction best price wins.

Most cars at police auctions have hidden problems, maybe you should go to a dealer and get a quality checked car

I would enquire where the car came from & find out if the the car was used as a training vehicle & has sustained considerble damage. Emergency vehicles are more expensive to repair due to the specialized factory eqiupment.

I love the Police ........ take from the people to sell back to the people only to take back again and resell.
