If I am
Age 13....Height 5'3"......weight 121

Then how many calories does my body burn by keeping me alive ....breathing ect.?

I have a moderate metabolism i try to bike almsot everyday and I walk everyday for about a mile.

I'd say about 1200. That's if you were to sit on a chair and drool all day. Now to function on a day-to-day basis and continue to grow? Probably around 1500-1800. Naturally, it will be more if you exercise more. Bike lightly for an hour, and add 300 calories. Run 3 miles, add 300 more.

As a rough estimate, you can add a 0 to your weight in pounds to get how much you burn by existing.

Yea, it depends on how fast your metabolism is. I'm 14, really short, and I weigh 84 pounds!!! A lot of the times I think I'm too skinny, but it's mostly just my metabolism, because it's really fast.
