I think it should stay there. But if you insist on having it removed then you can send all your "IN GOD WE TRUST" money to me. If it were not for " in GOD we trust" this nation would not be here and your right to question the workings of the government would not exist.

It should stay; for a NUMBER of reasons that are too many name.

Let's just say that at the end of the day, the more you "attempt" to discount the ONE who has "owners rights" to ALL things, the further you are away from what is just, what is TRUTH, what is right, what is honorable and what is moral.

I once was young and now I'm older and I never thought I would see a day when THE TRUTH would be such a debate...

As an atheist I say it doesn't really matter. They are just words on paper and really mean nothing. Do you really think everything written should be taken literally? What about in a marriage ceremony and the words 'till death do us part'? Or in the Pledge of Allegiance, 'with Liberty and Justice for all...'? All of it is merely symbolic words on paper that carry very little actual meaning.

It's tradition. I think it should stay. We found this country based on certain ideals. To remove it would be disrespectful to our Founding Fathers. Why do people feel the need to reject everything relating to God. I'm not a diehard Christian, but I do believe in God. Then again, I also have my doubts. Maybe having those doubts is against my religion, but I can't help it. I'm also cultured enough to respect other people's opinions.

I wouldn't go to a middle eastern country and demand things that went against their religion. I think some people just want to stir up trouble. Will it really kill them to use our money?

In the future, most places will accept debit/checkcards so those people need not worry about U.S. currency. They can do transactions electronically.

Tell you what, let's have 2 versions, variety is the spice of life.
If they can make state's quarters, then they can put Bozo on the money if you think that would float your boat.

As far as credit cards well, there is no trust, just sheer stupidity.

It doesn't really matter to me either way, but sense it is a subject that so many people feel strongly about one way or the other, I think it should be put on the ballot, and let "we the people" decide.

Be removed. As an athiest, I'm not offended by it, I couldn't care less, but there are so many religions, and not all believe in the Christian god.

It should be removed. It is not a fair representation of what ALL people in our nation stand for.

It's just words; words that only have a deeper meaning if you wish to assign them one. I don't care if is it there or if it isn't. I don't have money in my hands long enough to care what is written on it.
