AN EXCELLENT QUESTION. It is well known that Christ is coming for his second advent. Before he does Satan is going to be here for five months bringing people before him so he can convert them into believing he is the real Christ. At that time there will be people who god call his "elect". These people will also be brought before Satan to be converted. But these elect are not to premeditate what to say to Satan when the time comes. Because in that hour the HOLY SPIRIT will put in their mind what to say , and it will be irrefutable. And if for some reason the elect does not say what the holy spirit puts in their mind but instead says something else then that is blaspheming the holy spirit . and it will not be forgiven in this world or the next! And you can take that to the bank!
PS Somebody please tell Dee that i just gave an in depth explanation of what blaspheming the holy spirit is.

Because it cannot be forgiven.
Matthew 12:31 Therefore I say unto you, Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men; but the blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.

Blasphemy is seeing and or knowing that the Holy Spirit exists, and denying so, or attributing acts of the Holy Spirit to Satan. Basically, if you have been given a gift and you choose to deny it or falsely deny it's existence, you no longer deserve that gift.

The Unpardonable Sin
"He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters. Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
Words Reveal Character
"Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for the tree is known by its fruit. You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart. The good man brings out of his good treasure what is good; and the evil man brings out of his evil treasure what is evil. But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."
You have His Word on it....

What do you mean against the law? According to the Bible, this is the one sin that is unforgivable. One must read and understand for himself what the bible is saying to us about this. This doesn't mean that a non christian will be held accountable because he/she is living in sin already. The Word is for Christians.

There isn't any in depth explanation as to why but "so be it said, so said it be done."
Mar 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
Mar 3:30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

Not government law, but the law of God. Because God is the REAL DEAL. You mess with anything that is connected to Him like the Holy Spirit and His son Christ Jesus, you won't have to wait til hell freezes over. Keep your human nature sin separate from God. Everyone sins, swears, and fall short of God in some way or the other. Just keep your imperfections away from God. Meaning if you get totally upset with someone don't swear using God and don't use God to make your point because who says God agrees with us. When I get really mad at someone I warn them to back off. I will say, "You don't want to get me angry because I will sin." I use myself to make my point. Or when someone lies to another I hear people say "I swear to God I didn't do it, I didn't say it." They are using God and I think God don't want us to include Him in our sinful actions. I do sin and when I do, I just wait until I'm calm, cool, and collective, then I go to God and say I'm very sorry, please help me to have more patience with irritating people. I could call them more worse names than irritating but then I would be sinning answering your question. Have a beautiful day!

It's not against the law. It's against a commandment of Jesus reported in the Gospel of Mark.
Law breaking lead to jail or fines. Your church is in charge of its religious rules, but at least in the US, they can't put you in jail or require you to give your money to them.
