well last night i was a party with some of my friends, and ona my friends cousins, who i later found out was only 13, i am 16. well last night we were hanging out in my friends room with some other friends, and me n' her we're chillin on his bed. for some reason even though she was right next to me she kept textin me askin me if i find her attractive, and if i think she's the cutest girl there. well i have yet to find out she was 13. i said yes i do for both questions. well last night she fell alseep on me with her head on my chest and kinda holdin my arm, this morning she sent me a message. that says the following:
""did you really mean it last nite wen yu said you liked me?""
how should i respond she is a freaking 7th grader and i am freakin junior. i think that is just wierd. but anyway how should i respond i don't wanna hurt the girls feelings, and i feel like a complete retard since i found out she was that old early early this morning. thanks for any help.

This is not the best position to be in. Either way the girl is probably going to end up getting hurt in some manner. Tell her that you think she's sweet or something but also tell her the truth, that she's too young for you. She's got to understand, also with her being related to your friend that could get awkward between you and the friend.

Let her know that you really do think she is cute or whatever but that since you found out her age that it would not be right for the two of you to have a relationship. It is going to hurt her no matter what but the truth is the best way because it sets everything out on the line and there can't be any misunderstanding.

Talk to her and be direct by telling her that you didn't know she was just 13, and that is important. Don't mention how pretty you think she is, it will only get worse. Tell her that you cannot have a relationship with her, and don't even mention that maybe in a few years, something can happen. It may hurt her, but at least you were honest and stayed within the law.

Just be honest. Say that you just found out she was 13 and you aren't okay with that age difference. Apolgize and tell her she doesn't look her age. Other then that you don't need to say anymore. She's 13...she's emotional and no matter what she will be upset. Let her know that it'd be best for her to find someone her own age.

the 'u look olda' bit is VITAL! u need 2 pay her all 3 compliments in the txt at least!
also dont wory about 'breakin her heart', it was one flirty night and nuthin happened, shes probably quite old 4 her age relationshipwise, if she goes 2 16 yr old partys, can act as if shes 16, and was confident being that 4ward with olda boys. shes probably been out with a gud fu guys & wont pin 2 much hope on this.

Freshman. Little man. You are too young to know shi* about relationship. My little brother is also a freshman and he gets countless texts from this girl he knows in California. The texts are really idiotic too. You don't know relationships at all. Wait till you mature a little. Also. Little man. You don't be so pessimistic. You think you blew it today? No. You didn't. You didn't DO ANYTHING today. Thats all that happened. Walk up to her and show her your damn confidence. Its pretty damn sexy.

Tough one! Well, you did think she was attractive and you told her so. That's a good ego boost right there. I think maybe you just need to tell her like you told us here. Yeah she's attractive and all, BUT she's just too young for you. No, that won't likely make her happy but it's not like you're putting her down. You're just letting her know that 7th grade is just TOO YOUNG!

Just tell her that you could end up in jail for dating her right now but in a couple of years you'll be more than happy to go out with her

Tell her that u think she is really cute, nice, and funny but tell her that she would be better off with someone her age. If u still want to be friends with her, tell her strait up that there is too much difference to be a couple but still close enough to be friends.
