if a guy is in a relationship, why does he get angry if his gf talks to other guys or about the way she dresses? is he doubtful/scared? why are guys sometimes bossy? what makes them feel this way?

It's not that guys don't trust girls. Guys don't trust OTHER guys, because we are guys and know that other ones are all disgusting, horny, filthy pigs who will boink anyone and everyone who has a little cleavage showing or who interprets a girl's friendliness as carefree flirtation.

My boyfriend admits to being this way. I don't allow him to act it out, but he admits that he feels this way inside and gets soooo angry to the point of wanting to hurt guys who look at me. He tells me that he knows that it comes from insecurity that he has. He is very afraid of losing me. It is a SERIOUS fear of his. So it is more a fact that he doesn't trust other men and is afraid that they will take me away from him rather than not trusting me. He also always wants to be sure that I would be able to recognize when a man is being flirty with me. It's all insecurities.
