Y=A-(X+Z) OR WORK IS SUCCESS MINUS PLAY MINUS KEEPING YOUR MOUTH SHUT.

If Z is keeping your mouth shut then the correct formula is
A = Y + X - Z
as in not keeping your mouth shut. always ask questions, express your opinions, always protest when you feel it's necessary. what's not spoken doesn't exist
