If this was an email confirming the efile of your return you need to allow 3 weeks from the date that you electronically filed your return for normal processing, if there are no issues or errors on your return you might get your refund within 10 business days

Did you give the IRS your e-mail address when you filed? If you did not, I guarantee the e-mail is fraudulent. E-mail scams claiming to come from the IRS are very common this time of year. Normally, I'd say you should receive your return within 2 weeks of the IRS accepting your return. This year there have been enough delays, I wouldn't make any promises. Even if the e-mail is legitimate, I wouldn't pay much attention to it.

They said you will get it BY April 17, which is the last day for filing. You will probably get it in a week if you e-filed. Wait 10 days and if it isn't in your bank account (direct deposit is quickest) you can try to call. Good luck getting through!!

Make sure the email is in fact from the IRS...I got one of those last year and found out it was a spoof email.

Seems a tad slow - I e-filed and got my refund in 10 days.
