I'm very sorry, but the chances of you finding her is very slim... : (
You should check the local pounds, go door to door ( which is a little late), put up signs and keep an eye open.
Sometimes these things happen, but usually they won't some back if you haven't found them after looking for 3 weeks, 5 months? Your dog might have been found by another family and they kept her.
It's the sad truth... I had a dog that ran away, about the same time your dog did... sorry... it sucks, and it's not fare, but who ever said life was...
maybe you should concider getting a new dog,
I know it's hard, but it's not replacing your old dog
it's just getting another friend...
I hope you feel better : )

Good luck. We had ours microchipped when we bought her (someone actually stole her) and we haven't seen or heard anything in a year.
All you can do is keep calling humane societies and telling them to keep a look out, as well as any local vets.
You could also post an ad in the local paper saying about when she left, and where, as well as how much you miss her. Have a reward if possible.

Have you been trying for the last five months.. If so I really don't think you chances of getting your dog back is good. Other than putting up flyer's, ads in Newspaper..A reward for your dog.. there isn't to much else you can do.
Wish you luck though I would die if I lost one of my pets.
