why do we both feel sleepy when after we have intercourse with eachother?

Very normal. After the excitement and adrenal glands calm down and the heart begins to beat at a regular rate again, its common.

the body produces certain chemical elements after intercourse ... they cause that feeling , have you heard of bedroom eyes? , well it's ok , but also is he time when you can cuddle and restart another session , after a little relapse time ... but this time use more pre-stuff , and some lub .

you lack endurance.
endurance is being able to balance your energy throughout a whole experience.
so running for example: having good endurance in running is being able to run the whole way without stopping.
as for intercourse, you both lack endurance. practice will make you better.
either that or you live with him in his parents house and have to wait until 3 in the morning when everyone is asleep I AM KIDDING haha

you did have boring intercourse or too exhausted.

there is a chemical released out of your body when having sex by the way its great..plus its good for the body just be safe ya know and enjoy
