I read somewhere that Buddhism is getting popular in the US but I don't see anything.

It's most popular on the west coast, both because there's a lot of people there into "unusual" things, and they have a lot of Chinese and Japanese immigrants. But if you look hard enough you can probably find a Buddhist temple... I'd guess within a hundred miles of just about anywhere. They're not much on advertising so they're harder to spot.

I am of German lineage, but I am an American. My girlfriend is native American. We are both Buddhist. We know about a dozen others American Buddhists.
